Al-Furqan (The Criterion)

Translation

Verses 1-20

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْفُرْقَانَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ لِيَكُونَ لِلْعَالَمِينَ نَذِيرًا (1)

Blessings from the One Who sent down the criterion upon His servant to be for those who know a warner.
[Al Quran ; 25:1]

الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدَّرَهُ تَقْدِيرًا (2)

The One to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and Who did not take a child; and there is not for Him a partner in the kingdom, and Who created everything, and measured it according to a measure.
[Al Quran ; 25:2]

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُورًا (3)

And they have taken other than Him gods which do not create a thing and they are created, and who possess not for themselves any harm or benefit nor they possess (power to cause) death or life or resurrection.
[Al Quran ; 25:3]

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا إِفْكٌ افْتَرَاهُ وَأَعَانَهُ عَلَيْهِ قَوْمٌ آخَرُونَ ۖ فَقَدْ جَاءُوا ظُلْمًا وَزُورًا (4)

And those who have disbelieved said: Indeed, this is not except a lie he forged, and other people assisted him in it. And certainly they have committed an injustice and falsehood.
[Al Quran ; 25:4]

وَقَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ اكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِيَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا (5)

And they have said: The legends of the former (people) that he has written, and they are dictated to him morning and evening.
[Al Quran ; 25:5]

قُلْ أَنْزَلَهُ الَّذِي يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا (6)

Say: It was sent down by the One Who knows the secret in the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving, Merciful.
[Al Quran ; 25:6]

وَقَالُوا مَالِ هَٰذَا الرَّسُولِ يَأْكُلُ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشِي فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ۙ لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ فَيَكُونَ مَعَهُ نَذِيرًا (7)

And they have said: How does this messenger eat food and walk in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel to be with him a warner?
[Al Quran ; 25:7]

أَوْ يُلْقَىٰ إِلَيْهِ كَنْزٌ أَوْ تَكُونُ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا ۚ وَقَالَ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنْ تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا رَجُلًا مَسْحُورًا (8)

Or a treasure is thrown to him or has he a garden from which he eats? And the unjust said: You only follow a man who is affected by magic.
[Al Quran ; 25:8]

انْظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا لَكَ الْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا (9)

See how they strike for you examples, but they strayed and they could not find a way.
[Al Quran ; 25:9]

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي إِنْ شَاءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيْرًا مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكَ قُصُورًا (10)

Blessings from the One Who, if He willed, would have made for you better than that, gardens beneath which rivers flow, and could make for you palaces.
[Al Quran ; 25:10]

بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالسَّاعَةِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَنْ كَذَّبَ بِالسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرًا (11)

Rather, they denied the hour. And We have prepared for those who deny the hour a burning fire.
[Al Quran ; 25:11]

إِذَا رَأَتْهُمْ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا (12)

When it sees them from a distant place, they will hear from it its fury and exhaling.
[Al Quran ; 25:12]

وَإِذَا أُلْقُوا مِنْهَا مَكَانًا ضَيِّقًا مُقَرَّنِينَ دَعَوْا هُنَالِكَ ثُبُورًا (13)

And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein while bound, they will call thereupon for destruction.
[Al Quran ; 25:13]

لَا تَدْعُوا الْيَوْمَ ثُبُورًا وَاحِدًا وَادْعُوا ثُبُورًا كَثِيرًا (14)

Call not today for one destruction but call for many destructions.
[Al Quran ; 25:14]

قُلْ أَذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ أَمْ جَنَّةُ الْخُلْدِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۚ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَزَاءً وَمَصِيرًا (15)

Say: Is that better or the garden of eternity which is promised to those who fear? It will be for them a reward and a destination.
[Al Quran ; 25:15]

لَهُمْ فِيهَا مَا يَشَاءُونَ خَالِدِينَ ۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعْدًا مَسْئُولًا (16)

For them therein what they will, abiding (therein); it is upon your Lord a requested promise.
[Al Quran ; 25:16]

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنْتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَٰؤُلَاءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ (17)

And the day He will gather them and whatever they worshipped other than Allah, then He will say: Are you those who misled these, My servants, or did they (themselves) stray from the way?
[Al Quran ; 25:17]

قَالُوا سُبْحَانَكَ مَا كَانَ يَنْبَغِي لَنَا أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ مِنْ دُونِكَ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ وَلَٰكِنْ مَتَّعْتَهُمْ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَسُوا الذِّكْرَ وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا بُورًا (18)

They will say: Glory be to You, it was not right for us that we take other than You any guardians, but You made them and their fathers to enjoy until they forgot the reminder and were a ruined people.
[Al Quran ; 25:18]

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوكُمْ بِمَا تَقُولُونَ فَمَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ صَرْفًا وَلَا نَصْرًا ۚ وَمَنْ يَظْلِمْ مِنْكُمْ نُذِقْهُ عَذَابًا كَبِيرًا (19)

So they will certainly deny you in what you say, then you will not be able to repel (punishment) or (get) help; and whoever among you is unjust, We will make him taste a great torture.
[Al Quran ; 25:19]

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا (20)

And We have not sent before you any messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you for others a trial, will you have patience? And your Lord is ever Seeing.

Al-Furqan (The Criterion)

Translation

Verses 21-40

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءَنَا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَوْ نَرَىٰ رَبَّنَا ۗ لَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْا عُتُوًّا كَبِيرًا (21)

And those who do not desire Our meeting say: Why were not the angels been sent down upon us, or we see our Lord. They have certainly acted arrogantly within themselves and revolted a great revolt.
[Al Quran ; 25:21]

يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا (22)

The day they will see the angels, there will be no good tidings on that day for the criminals; and they will say: It is prevented in total prevention.
[Al Quran ; 25:22]

وَقَدِمْنَا إِلَىٰ مَا عَمِلُوا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ هَبَاءً مَنْثُورًا (23)

And We will proceed to what they have done of deeds, then We make it as scattered dust.
[Al Quran ; 25:23]

أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَيْرٌ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَأَحْسَنُ مَقِيلًا (24)

The companions of the garden on that day will be in a better settlement and a better resting place.
[Al Quran ; 25:24]

وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ السَّمَاءُ بِالْغَمَامِ وَنُزِّلَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ تَنْزِيلًا (25)

And the day the sky will split open with clouds; and the angels will be sent down in (successive) descent.
[Al Quran ; 25:25]

الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ عَسِيرًا (26)

The kingdom on that day belongs in truth to the Compassionate; and the day will be upon the unbelievers hard.
[Al Quran ; 25:26]

وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا (27)

And the day the unjust will bite his hands saying: Oh! I should have taken with the messenger a way.
[Al Quran ; 25:27]

يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا (28)

Oh! Woe to me, I should have never taken such one as a friend.
[Al Quran ; 25:28]

لَقَدْ أَضَلَّنِي عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَاءَنِي ۗ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِلْإِنْسَانِ خَذُولًا (29)

He has certainly misguided me from the reminder after it had come to me; and ever is the devil to the human a deserter.
[Al Quran ; 25:29]

وَقَالَ الرَّسُولُ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَهْجُورًا (30)

And the messenger will say: My Lord! Indeed, my people have taken this Quran as an abandoned.
[Al Quran ; 25:30]

وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا (31)

And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. And sufficient is your Lord as Guide and Helper.
[Al Quran ; 25:31]

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنُ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤَادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلْنَاهُ تَرْتِيلًا (32)

And those who have disbelieved say: Why was the Quran not sent down to him at once? Thus that We may strengthen thereby your heart; and We have recited it in (clear) reciting.
[Al Quran ; 25:32]

وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا (33)

And they do not bring to you an example except that We brought to you the truth and best of explanation.
[Al Quran ; 25:33]

الَّذِينَ يُحْشَرُونَ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ أُولَٰئِكَ شَرٌّ مَكَانًا وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (34)

Those who will be gathered on their faces towards hell; those are in worst place and most misguided in (their) way.
[Al Quran ; 25:34]

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهُ أَخَاهُ هَارُونَ وَزِيرًا (35)

And We have certainly given Musa the book and made with him his brother Harun a minister.
[Al Quran ; 25:35]

فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَا إِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْمِيرًا (36)

Then We said: Go to the people who denied Our signs. Then We destroyed them with destruction.
[Al Quran ; 25:36]

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَةً ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا (37)

And the people of Nuh, when they denied the messengers, We drowned them and made them for the people a sign;. And We have prepared for the unjust a painful torture.
[Al Quran ; 25:37]

وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَأَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُونًا بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرًا (38)

And Aad and Thamud and the companions of the well and many generations between them.
[Al Quran ; 25:38]

وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ الْأَمْثَالَ ۖ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيرًا (39)

And for each We struck examples, and each We eliminated with elimination.
[Al Quran ; 25:39]

وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ ۚ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا ۚ بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا (40

And they have certainly passed upon the village which was showered with evil rain. So have they not seen it? Rather, they did not desire resurrection.
[Al Quran ; 25:40]

Al-Furqan (The Criterion)

Translation

Verses 41-60

وَإِذَا رَأَوْكَ إِنْ يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُوًا أَهَٰذَا الَّذِي بَعَثَ اللَّهُ رَسُولًا (41)

And when they see you, they only take you for a mockery (saying): Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger?
[Al Quran ; 25:41]

إِنْ كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ آلِهَتِنَا لَوْلَا أَنْ صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (42)

He almost would have misguided us from our gods had we not been patient in (worshipping) them. And they will know, when they see the torture, who is more misguided from the way.
[Al Quran ; 25:42]

أَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنْتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا (43)

Have you seen the one who takes his god (according to) his desires? Will you then be over him a trustee?
[Al Quran ; 25:43]

أَمْ تَحْسَبُ أَنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُونَ أَوْ يَعْقِلُونَ ۚ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ ۖ بَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (44)

Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only as the cattle; rather, they are more misguided from the way.
[Al Quran ; 25:44]

أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا (45)

Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shade? And if He had willed He would have made it stationary; then We will make the sun over it an evidence.
[Al Quran ; 25:45]

ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا (46)

Then We withdraw it to Ourselves (with) an easy withdrawal.
[Al Quran ; 25:46]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُورًا (47)

And it is He Who made the night for you covering and the sleep as rest and has made the day (for you) to spread around.
[Al Quran ; 25:47]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ ۚ وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً طَهُورًا (48)

And it is He Who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy; and We send down from the sky pure water.
[Al Quran ; 25:48]

لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَا أَنْعَامًا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيرًا (49)

That We may give life thereby to a dead town, and made it as drink for what We have created of cattle and many people.
[Al Quran ; 25:49]

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَاهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا فَأَبَىٰ أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا (50)

And We have certainly distributed it between them that perhaps they will remember; and most of the people refuse except disbelief.
[Al Quran ; 25:50]

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَذِيرًا (51)

And if We had willed, We would have sent in every village a warner.
[Al Quran ; 25:51]

فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَجَاهِدْهُمْ بِهِ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا (52)

So do not obey the unbelievers, and strive against them with it (the Quran) a great striving.
[Al Quran ; 25:52]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا (53)

And it is He Who has joined the two seas, this is fresh and sweet, and this is salty and bitter; and He made between the two a barrier and a prevention which totally prevents (the two to mix).
[Al Quran ; 25:53]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا (54)

And it is He Who has created from the water a human being and made him lineage and marriage relationships. And ever is your Lord Capable.
[Al Quran ; 25:54]

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ ۗ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلَىٰ رَبِّهِ ظَهِيرًا (55)

And they worship other than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them; and ever is the unbeliever against his Lord an assistant (to the fake gods).
[Al Quran ; 25:55]

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا (56)

And We have not sent you except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
[Al Quran ; 25:56]

قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا (57)

Say: I do not ask you for it any wage, but whoever wills, may take to his Lord a way.
[Al Quran ; 25:57]

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِهِ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا (58)

And rely upon the Alive Who does not die, and glorify with His praise. And Sufficient is He to be, over the sins of His servants, Acquainted.
[Al Quran ; 25:58]

الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۚ الرَّحْمَٰنُ فَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَبِيرًا (59)

Who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days; moreover, He established (Himself) upon the throne, the Compassionate, so ask about Him one (who is) acquainted.
[Al Quran ; 25:59]

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا (60)

And when it is said to them: Prostrate to the Compassionate, they say: And what is the Compassionate? Should we prostrate to that which you command us? And it increases them in aversion.

Translation

Verses 61-77

تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَاجًا وَقَمَرًا مُنِيرًا (61)

Blessings from the One Who made in the sky constellations and made therein a lamp and a luminous moon.
[Al Quran ; 25:61]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرَادَ شُكُورًا (62)

And it is He Who made the night and the day in succession for whoever wants to remember or wants gratitude.
[Al Quran ; 25:62]

وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامًا (63)

And the servants of the Compassionate who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.
[Al Quran ; 25:63]

وَالَّذِينَ يَبِيتُونَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَقِيَامًا (64)

And those who spend the night before their Lord prostrating and standing.
[Al Quran ; 25:64]

وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ إِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا (65)

And those who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the torture of hell; indeed, its torture is ever continuing.
[Al Quran ; 25:65]

إِنَّهَا سَاءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا (66)

Indeed, it is miserable of a settlement and position.
[Al Quran ; 25:66]

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنْفَقُوا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ قَوَامًا (67)

And those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, moderate.
[Al Quran ; 25:67]

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَدْعُونَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُونَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ يَلْقَ أَثَامًا (68)

And those who do not call with Allah another god and do not kill the soul which Allah has prohibited, except by right, and do not commit adultery. And whoever does that will accumulate sins.
[Al Quran ; 25:68]

يُضَاعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيهِ مُهَانًا (69)

Multiplied for him is the torture on the day of resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated.
[Al Quran ; 25:69]

إِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَأُولَٰئِكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ حَسَنَاتٍ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَحِيمًا (70)

Except one who repents and believes and does a good deed; and it is them for whom Allah will change their sins with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving, Merciful.
[Al Quran ; 25:70]

وَمَنْ تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَإِنَّهُ يَتُوبُ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَتَابًا (71)

And whoever repents and does good deed, then indeed, he repents to Allah with (good) repentance.
[Al Quran ; 25:71]

وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا كِرَامًا (72)

And those who do not testify for falsehood, and when they pass by vain talk, they pass by with dignity.
[Al Quran ; 25:72]

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَعُمْيَانًا (73)

And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, they do not fall down upon them deaf and blind.
[Al Quran ; 25:73]

وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا (74)

And those who say: Our Lord! Give us from among our wives and our offspring joy of our eyes and make us for the pious leaders.
[Al Quran ; 25:74]

أُولَٰئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَامًا (75)

It is them who will be rewarded with the (highest) chamber (in paradise) for how they patiently endured, and will be met therein with greetings and peace.
[Al Quran ; 25:75]

خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَمُقَامًا (76)

Abiding therein; good is the settlement and position.
[Al Quran ; 25:76]

قُلْ مَا يَعْبَأُ بِكُمْ رَبِّي لَوْلَا دُعَاؤُكُمْ ۖ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُونُ لِزَامًا (77)

Say: My Lord would not care for you, were it not for your supplication; and already you have denied, so it (the torture) will be inevitable.
[Al Quran ; 25:77]
