48.21 - And other (battles) upon that you have not been able (to know) which Allah has encompassed. And ever is Allah over everything, Capable. 48.22 - And if those who have disbelieved had fought you, they would have turned their backs, then they would not find any guardian or any helper. 48.23 - The course of Allah which passed on before, and you will never find in the course of Allah any change. 48.24 - And it is He Who withheld their hands from you and your hands from them in the valley of Mecca after He made you victorious over them. And ever is Allah over what you do, Seeing. 48.25 - They are those who have disbelieved and hindered you from the sacred mosque and prevented the offering from reaching its place. And if not for (some) believing men and believing women (among them) whom you did not know that you might trample, you would be struck because of them by dishonour without knowledge. So Allah might admit into His mercy whom He wills. If they had been apart, We would have castigated those who have disbelieved from among them with a painful torture. 48.26 - When those who have disbelieved had in their hearts hatred, the hatred of ignorance, so Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His messenger and upon the believers and made them keep the word of righteousness, and they were more deserving to it and worthy of it. And ever is Allah of everything, Knowing. 48.27 - Allah had certainly showed His messenger the vision in truth. You will surely enter the sacred mosque, if Allah willed, in security, with their heads shaved and (hair) shortened, not fearing anyone. And He knew what you did not know and made before that a near conquest. 48.28 - It is He Who sent His messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it manifest over all religions. And sufficient is Allah as Witness. 48.29 - Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and those with him are tough against the unbelievers, merciful among themselves. You will see them bowing, prostrating and seeking grace from Allah and pleasure. Their marks are on their faces as a result of prostration. That is their likeness in the Taurat, and their likeness in the Injeel, as a plant that produced its sprout, then strengthened it so it became thick and stood on its stem, delighting the farmers, so that He may enrage thereby the unbelievers. Allah has promised those who have believed and done good deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.
