Translation

Verses 1-20

---

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

---

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنَىٰ وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ ۚ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ (1)

Praise be to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, (Who) made the angels messengers having wings, two and three and four; He increases in creation what He wills; indeed, Allah is over everything, Capable.
[Al Quran ; 35:1]

مَا يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلَا مُمْسِكَ لَهَا ۖ وَمَا يُمْسِكْ فَلَا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ (2)

Whatever Allah opens to the people of mercy, there will be no withholder to it; and whatever He withholds, there will be no sender for it thereafter. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.
[Al Quran ; 35:2]

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ (3)

O people! Remember the favours of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the sky and the earth? There is no god except Him, so how are you deluded?
[Al Quran ; 35:3]

وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَتْ رُسُلٌ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ (4)

And if they deny you, already were messengers denied before you; and to Allah are returned all matters.
[Al Quran ; 35:4]

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ ۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ (5)

O people! Indeed, the promise of Allah is true, so let not the life of this world delude you, and be not deceived about Allah by any deceit.
[Al Quran ; 35:5]

---

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا ۚ إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ (6)

Indeed, the devil is to you, an enemy, so take him as an enemy; he only invites his party to be among the companions of the blaze.
[Al Quran ; 35:6]

الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ (7)

Those who have disbelieved, for them, there will be a severe torture. And those who have believed and done good deeds, for them, there will be forgiveness and an enormous reward.
[Al Quran ; 35:7]

أَفَمَنْ زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ (8)

Then, is one to whom his evil deed has been decorated so that he sees it good? For indeed, Allah misguides whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself be upon them, regretful; indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
[Al Quran ; 35:8]

وَاللَّهُ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَسُقْنَاهُ إِلَىٰ بَلَدٍ مَيِّتٍ فَأَحْيَيْنَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ النُّشُورُ (9)

And Allah is He Who sends the winds so they stir clouds, then We drive them to a dead country and give life thereby to the land after its death. Thus is the resurrection.
[Al Quran ; 35:9]

مَنْ كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْعِزَّةَ فَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِلَيْهِ يَصْعَدُ الْكَلِمُ الطَّيِّبُ وَالْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ يَرْفَعُهُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ يَمْكُرُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۖ وَمَكْرُ أُولَٰئِكَ هُوَ يَبُورُ (10)

Whoever wants honour, then to Allah belongs all honour. To Him ascends the good words. And (as for) the good deed, He raises it. And those who plan evil deeds, for them, there will be a severe torture; and (as for) the plan of these, it will perish.
[Al Quran ; 35:10]

وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا ۚ وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّرٍ وَلَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ (11)

And Allah created you from dust, then of a drop, then He made you pairs. And no female conceives nor does she deliver (a baby) except with His knowledge. And no aged person ages or his life decreases except it is (decreed) in a book. Indeed, that is upon Allah, easy.
[Al Quran ; 35:11]

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ ۖ وَمِنْ كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا ۖ وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ (12)

And the two seas are not equal, this (one) is fresh and sweet, pleasant to drink; and this (one) is salty and bitter. But from both you eat soft meat and extract ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships sailing through it that you may seek of His grace and perhaps you will be grateful.
[Al Quran ; 35:12]

يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْ قِطْمِيرٍ (13)

He merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each runs to a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord, to Him belongs the kingdom; and those upon whom you call other than Him, do not possess a seed.
[Al Quran ; 35:13]

إِنْ تَدْعُوهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُوا دُعَاءَكُمْ وَلَوْ سَمِعُوا مَا اسْتَجَابُوا لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُونَ بِشِرْكِكُمْ ۚ وَلَا يُنَبِّئُكَ مِثْلُ خَبِيرٍ (14)

If you call upon them, they will not hear your call; and (even) if they could hear, they will not answer you. And on the day of resurrection, they will deny your association; and none can inform you like (One) Acquainted.
[Al Quran ; 35:14]

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ أَنْتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ (15)

O people! You are those in need of Allah; and Allah is the Rich, the Praised.
[Al Quran ; 35:15]

إِنْ يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ (16)

If He wills, He can cause you to perish and bring a new creation.
[Al Quran ; 35:16]

---

وَمَا ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ (17)

And that is not upon Allah, mighty.
[Al Quran ; 35:17]

---

وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۚ وَإِنْ تَدْعُ مُثْقَلَةٌ إِلَىٰ حِمْلِهَا لَا يُحْمَلْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۗ إِنَّمَا تُنْذِرُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ ۚ وَمَنْ تَزَكَّىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَتَزَكَّىٰ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ (18)

And no sin bears the sin of another; and if a heavily loaded woman calls for (others to carry) her load, nothing of it will be carried, even if one is (her) relative. You only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever seeks purity, he only purifies himself; and to Allah is the (final) destination.
[Al Quran ; 35:18]

---

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ (19)

And not equal are the blind and the seeing.
[Al Quran ; 35:19]

---

وَلَا الظُّلُمَاتُ وَلَا النُّورُ (20)

Nor are the darkness and the light.
[Al Quran ; 35:20]

Translation

Verses 1-20

---

Verses 21-45

---

وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الْحَرُورُ (21)

Nor are the shade and the heat.
[Al Quran ; 35:21]

---

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ (22)

And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah makes to hear whom He wills, and you cannot make those to hear who are in the graves.
[Al Quran ; 35:22]

إِنْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ (23)

You are only a warner.
[Al Quran ; 35:23]

---

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ (24)

Indeed, We have sent you in truth as a bearer of good tidings and a warner; and there was no nation except that there has passed among them a warner.
[Al Quran ; 35:24]

وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ (25)

And if they deny you, then already have those before them denied; their messengers came to them with proofs and with scriptures and with the enlightening book.
[Al Quran ; 35:25]

ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ (26)

Then I seized those who have disbelieved, so how (terrible) was (My) rejection.
[Al Quran ; 35:26]

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا ۚ وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ (27)

Do you not see that Allah sends down from the sky water, and We bring forth thereby plants produce of various colours? And in the mountains are streaks, white and red, of various colours and intensely black.
[Al Quran ; 35:27]

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهُ كَذَٰلِكَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ (28)

And of the people and moving creatures and the cattle are various colours similarly. Only those, fear Allah, of His servants who are knowledgeable. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَنْ تَبُورَ (29)

Indeed, those who recite the book of Allah and establish prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them, secretly and publicly, hope for a trade which will not perish.
[Al Quran ; 35:29]

لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ (30)

That He may pay them in full their rewards and increase them of His grace. Indeed, He is Forgiving, Appreciative.
[Al Quran ; 35:30]

وَالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِ لَخَبِيرٌ بَصِيرٌ (31)

And that which We have revealed to you of the book is the truth, verifying that which is before it. Indeed, Allah is of His servants, Aware, Seeing.
[Al Quran ; 35:31]

ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا الْكِتَابَ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ۖ فَمِنْهُمْ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مُقْتَصِدٌ وَمِنْهُمْ سَابِقٌ بِالْخَيْرَاتِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْكَبِيرُ (32)

Then We caused to inherit the Book those whom We chose from among Our servants; and among them is one who does injustice to himself, and among them is one who is moderate, and among them is one who is racing for good deeds by the permission of Allah. That is the enormous grace.

جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا يُحَلَّوْنَ فِيهَا مِنْ أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَلُؤْلُؤًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمْ فِيهَا حَرِيرٌ (33)

Gardens of Eden which they will enter; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk.
[Al Quran ; 35:33]

وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ ۖ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ (34)

And they would say: Praise be to Allah Who has taken away from us grief. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving, Appreciative.
[Al Quran ; 35:34]

الَّذِي أَحَلَّنَا دَارَ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ لَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَلَا يَمَسُّنَا فِيهَا لُغُوبٌ (35)

Who has settled us in the home of (the best) position out of His grace. There will not touch us therein any fatigue, nor there will touch us therein weariness.
[Al Quran ; 35:35]

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَهُمْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ فَيَمُوتُوا وَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي كُلَّ كَفُورٍ (36)

And those who have disbelieved, for them will be the fire of hell; it will not be decreed upon them so they should die, nor will its torture be lightened for them. Thus do We reward every unbeliever.
[Al Quran ; 35:36]

وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ ۖ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ نَصِيرٍ (37)

And they will scream therein: Our Lord! Remove us (from hell), we will do good deed other than that which we used to do. Did We not make you live long so that one who would remember therein remembers, and there came to you the warner? So taste (torture), for there will not be for the unjust any helper.
[Al Quran ; 35:37]

إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَالِمُ غَيْبِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ (38)

Indeed, Allah is the Knower of the unseen in the heavens and the earth; indeed, He is Knower of what is in the chests.
[Al Quran ; 35:38]

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَكُمْ خَلَائِفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُ ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا مَقْتًا ۖ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الْكَافِرِينَ كُفْرُهُمْ إِلَّا خَسَارًا (39)

It is He Who made you successors in the earth; so whoever disbelieves, then upon himself is his disbelief. And their disbelief does not increase the unbelievers with their Lord except in hatred; and the unbelievers are not increased by their unbelief except in loss.
[Al Quran ; 35:39]

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ شُرَكَاءَكُمُ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا فَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَتٍ مِنْهُ ۚ بَلْ إِنْ يَعِدُ الظَّالِمُونَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا إِلَّا غُرُورًا (40)

Say: Have you seen your associates upon which you call other than Allah? Show me what have they created of the earth, or have they any partnership in the heavens? Or have We given them a book so that they are on evidence thereform? Rather, the unjust do not promise each other except delusions.
[Al Quran ; 35:40]

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ أَنْ تَزُولَا ۚ وَلَئِنْ زَالَتَا إِنْ أَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا (41)

Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease; and if they should cease, there is none who can hold them after Him. Indeed, He is the Forbearer, the Forgiving.
[Al Quran ; 35:41]

وَأَقْسَمُوا بِاللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ لَئِنْ جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ لَيَكُونُنَّ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْ إِحْدَى الْأُمَمِ ۖ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ نَذِيرٌ مَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا (42)

And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if there came to them a warner, they would be better guided than any of the nations. And when there came to them a warner, it did not increase them except in aversion.

اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ اللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا (43)

Due to (their) arrogance in the land and planning of evil; and the evil plans will not encompass except its (own) people. Then do they wait except for the course of the former people? And you will not find in the course of Allah any change, and you will not find in the course of Allah any alteration.
[Al Quran ; 35:43]

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَكَانُوا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيمًا قَدِيرًا (44)

Have they not walked in the land to see how was the consequence for those before them? And they were greater than them in strength? And Allah is not to be made to fail in anything in the heavens or in the earth. Indeed, He is Knowing, Capable.
[Al Quran ; 35:44]

وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا (45)

And if Allah were to hold the people accountable for what they have earned, He would not leave on the back of it any walking creature. But He delays them until a specified term; so when their term comes, then indeed, Allah is over His servants, Seeing.

Translation

Verses 21-45

---

وَلَا الظِّلُّ وَلَا الْحَرُورُ (21)

Nor are the shade and the heat.
[Al Quran ; 35:21]

---

وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْأَحْيَاءُ وَلَا الْأَمْوَاتُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَنْ فِي الْقُبُورِ (22)

And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah makes to hear whom He wills, and you cannot make those to hear who are in the graves.
[Al Quran ; 35:22]

إِنْ أَنْتَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ (23)

You are only a warner.
[Al Quran ; 35:23]

---

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۚ وَإِنْ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ إِلَّا خَلَا فِيهَا نَذِيرٌ (24)

Indeed, We have sent you in truth as a bearer of good tidings and a warner; and there was no nation except that there has passed among them a warner.

وَإِنْ يُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالزُّبُرِ وَبِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنِيرِ (25)

And if they deny you, then already have those before them denied; their messengers came to them with proofs and with scriptures and with the enlightening book.

وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللَّهُ النَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُوا مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ وَلَٰكِنْ يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيرًا (45)

And if Allah were to hold the people accountable for what they have earned, He would not leave on the back of it any walking creature. But He delays them until a specified term; so when their term comes, then indeed, Allah is over His servants, Seeing.
