Translation

Verses 1-20

---

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

---

الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْحَكِيمِ (1)

Alif Lam Ra. These are the signs of the wise book.
[Al Quran ; 10:1]

---

أَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا أَنْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنْهُمْ أَنْ أَنذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْقٍ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ قَالَ الْكَافِرُونَ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسَاحِرٌ مُّبِينٌ (2)

Was it a wonder for the people that We revealed (Our signs) to a man from among themselves, (saying): Warn the people and give good tidings to those who have believed that for them will be a footing of truth with their Lord. The unbelievers say: Indeed, this is surely an obvious magician.

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُدَبِّرُ الأَمْرَ مَا مِن شَفِيعٍ إِلاَّ مِن بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِ ذَلِكُمُ اللّهُ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ أَفَلاَ تَذَكَّرُونَ (3)

Indeed, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six days. And He established Himself above the throne, directing the affair. There is no intercessor except by His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Will you not then remember?
[Al Quran ; 10:3]

إِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا وَعْدَ اللّهِ حَقًّا إِنَّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ بِالْقِسْطِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ (4)

To Him will be your return all together; the promise of Allah in truth. Indeed, He begins the creation and repeats it that He might reward those who have believed and done good. And those who have disbelieved, for them will be a drink of hot liquid and painful torture for what they used to deny.

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاء وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ (5)

It is He Who made the sun a shining light and the moon a light and determined for it phases that you might know the number of years and calculation. Allah did not create that except in truth; He explains the signs for a people who know.
[Al Quran ; 10:5]

إِنَّ فِي اخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَمَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ لآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَّقُونَ (6)

Indeed, in the variation of the night and the day and (in) what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear.
[Al Quran ; 10:6]

إَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءنَا وَرَضُواْ بِالْحَياةِ الدُّنْيَا وَاطْمَأَنُّواْ بِهَا وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِنَا غَافِلُونَ (7)

Indeed, those who do not desire Our meeting and are pleased with the life of this world and feel secure with it and those who of Our signs, unaware.
[Al Quran ; 10:7]

أُوْلَئِكَ مَأْوَاهُمُ النُّارُ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْسِبُونَ (8)

For those, their refuge will be the fire for what they used to earn.
[Al Quran ; 10:8]

---

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ يَهْدِيهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِإِيمَانِهِمْ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الأَنْهَارُ فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ (9)

Indeed, those who have believed and done good, their Lord guides them for their faith; beneath them rivers will flow in the gardens of pleasure.
[Al Quran ; 10:9]

دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلاَمٌ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (10)

Their call therein will be: Glory be to You, O Allah. And their greeting therein will be: Peace. And their last call will be: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
[Al Quran ; 10:10]

وَلَوْ يُعَجِّلُ اللّهُ لِلنَّاسِ الشَّرَّ اسْتِعْجَالَهُم بِالْخَيْرِ لَقُضِيَ إِلَيْهِمْ أَجَلُهُمْ فَنَذَرُ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءنَا فِي طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ (11)

And if Allah was to hasten for the people the evil as their desire of hastening the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave those, who do not desire Our meeting, in their unjust wandering blindly.
[Al Quran ; 10:11]

وَإِذَا مَسَّ الإِنسَانَ الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنبِهِ أَوْ قَاعِدًا أَوْ قَآئِمًا فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُ ضُرَّهُ مَرَّ كَأَن لَّمْ يَدْعُنَا إِلَى ضُرٍّ مَّسَّهُ كَذَلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ (12)

And when affliction touches the human, he calls upon Us, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; and when We remove from him his affliction, he continues as if he had never called upon Us to (remove) an affliction that touched him. Thus is decorated to the extravagant that which they used to do.
[Al Quran ; 10:12]

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا الْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ وَجَاءتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ كَذَلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ (13)

And We have certainly destroyed generations before you when they were unjust. And their messengers had come to them with proofs, but they were not to believe. Thus do We reward the people who are criminals.
[Al Quran ; 10:13]

ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ خَلاَئِفَ فِي الأَرْضِ مِن بَعْدِهِم لِنَنظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ (14)

Then We made you successors in the land after them that We see how you will do.
[Al Quran ; 10:14]

وَإِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالَ الَّذِينَ لاَ يَرْجُونَ لِقَاءنَا ائْتِ بِقُرْآنٍ غَيْرِ هَذَا أَوْ بَدِّلْهُ قُلْ مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاء نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ (15)

And when Our signs are recited to them as proofs, those who desire not Our meeting say: Bring a Quran other than this or change it. Say: It is not for me to change it on my own accord, I only follow what is revealed to me; indeed, I fear if I disobey my Lord, the torture of a great day.
[Al Quran ; 10:15]

قُل لَّوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلاَ أَدْرَاكُم بِهِ فَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّن قَبْلِهِ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ (16)

Say: If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made you aware of it; I have already lived between you a period before it. Will you not then understand?
[Al Quran ; 10:16]

فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِآيَاتِهِ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ (17)

And who is more unjust than one who forges about Allah a lie or denies His signs? Indeed, the criminals will not succeed.
[Al Quran ; 10:17]

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلاَ يَنفَعُهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ هَؤُلاء شُفَعَاؤُنَا عِندَ اللّهِ قُلْ أَتُنَبِّئُونَ اللّهَ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلاَ فِي الأَرْضِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ (18)

And they worship other than Allah that which neither harms them nor benefits them, and they say: These are our intercessors with Allah. Say: Do you inform Allah of what He does not know in the heavens and the earth? Glory be to Him, and exalted is He above what they associate.
[Al Quran ; 10:18]

وَمَا كَانَ النَّاسُ إِلاَّ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَاخْتَلَفُواْ وَلَوْلاَ كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِيمَا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ (19)

And the people were not except a single nation, but they differed. And if not for a word that proceeded from your Lord, the matter would have been decided between them concerning that over which they differ.
[Al Quran ; 10:19]

وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلاَ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا الْغَيْبُ لِلّهِ فَانْتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ (20)

And they say: Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord? So say: The unseen is only for Allah, so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.
[Al Quran ; 10:20]

Verses 1-20

Translation

Verses 21-40

---

وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّن بَعْدِ ضَرَّاء مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِي آيَاتِنَا قُلِ اللّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ (21)

And if We make the people taste mercy after an affliction has touched them, at once they devise plans against Our signs. Say: Allah is the quickest to plan. Indeed, Our messengers write what you plan.
[Al Quran ; 10:21]

هُوَ الَّذِي يُسَيِّرُكُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنتُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَرَيْنَ بِهِم بِرِيحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَفَرِحُواْ بِهَا جَاءتْهَا رِيحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَجَاءهُمُ الْمَوْجُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَظَنُّواْ أَنَّهُمْ أُحِيطَ بِهِمْ دَعَوُاْ اللّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ لَئِنْ أَنجَيْتَنَا مِنْ هَذِهِ لَنَكُونَنِّ مِنَ الشَّاكِرِينَ (22)

It is He Who makes you travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail on with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, a violent wind comes to it and the waves come to them from everywhere and they thought that they are surrounded thereby, they call upon Allah, sincere to Him in religion (saying): If You save us from this, we will surely be among the grateful.

فَلَمَّا أَنجَاهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِي الأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُم مَّتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَينَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ (23)

So when He saved them, at once they make mischief in the land without right. O people! Indeed, your perpetration is only against yourselves, (being) the provision of the life of this world. And to Us will be your return and We will inform you of what you used to do.

إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاء أَنزَلْنَاهُ مِنَ السَّمَاء فَاخْتَلَطَ بِهِ نَبَاتُ الأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالأَنْعَامُ حَتَّىَ إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَآ أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارًا فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدًا كَأَن لَّمْ تَغْنَ بِالأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (24)

The example of the life of this world is only like water which We send down from the sky that the plants of the earth absorb, from which the people and the cattle eat until, when the earth has taken its adornment and it became garnished and its people think that they have power over it, there comes to it Our command by night or by day, so We render it as harvest, as if it had not been in existence yesterday; thus do We explain the signs for a people who think.

وَاللّهُ يَدْعُو إِلَى دَارِ السَّلاَمِ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاء إِلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ (25)

And Allah invites to the home of peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.
[Al Quran ; 10:25]

لِّلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ الْحُسْنَى وَزِيَادَةٌ وَلاَ يَرْهَقُ وُجُوهَهُمْ قَتَرٌ وَلاَ ذِلَّةٌ أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (26)

For those who have done good will be the best and more, neither darkness nor humiliation will cover their faces. Those are the companions of the garden, they will be therein abiding.

وَالَّذِينَ كَسَبُواْ السَّيِّئَاتِ جَزَاء سَيِّئَةٍ بِمِثْلِهَا وَتَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ مَّا لَهُم مِّنَ اللّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ كَأَنَّمَا أُغْشِيَتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ قِطَعًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ مُظْلِمًا أُوْلَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (27)

And those who have earned evil deeds, the reward of an evil is its likeness, moreover humiliation will cover them; they will not have against Allah any defender. It will be as if their faces are covered with a part of a dark night; those are the companions of the fire, they will be therein abiding.

وَيَوْمَ نَحْشُرُهُمْ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ نَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ مَكَانَكُمْ أَنتُمْ وَشُرَكَآؤُكُمْ فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَقَالَ شُرَكَآؤُهُم مَّا كُنتُمْ إِيَّانَا تَعْبُدُونَ (28)

And the day when We will gather them all together, and We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Stay in your places, you and your associates. Then We will separate between them, and their associates will say: You did not used to worship us.

فَكَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَافِلِينَ (29)

And sufficient is Allah as a witness between us and you that indeed, we were of your worship unaware.
[Al Quran ; 10:29]

هُنَالِكَ تَبْلُو كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا أَسْلَفَتْ وَرُدُّواْ إِلَى اللّهِ مَوْلاَهُمُ الْحَقِّ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفْتَرُونَ (30)

At that time every soul will be put to trial for what it sent before, and they will be returned to Allah, their Guardian, the Truth. And lost from them will be whatever they used to forge.

قُلْ مَن يَرْزُقُكُم مِّنَ السَّمَاء وَالأَرْضِ أَمَّن يَمْلِكُ السَّمْعَ والأَبْصَارَ وَمَن يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيَّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَمَن يُدَبِّرُ الأَمْرَ فَسَيَقُولُونَ اللّهُ فَقُلْ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ (31)

Say: Who provides for you from the sky and the earth? Or Who controls hearing and vision? And Who brings the living from the dead and brings the dead from the living? And Who directs the affair? They will say: Allah. So say: Will you not then fear?
[Al Quran ; 10:31]

فَذَلِكُمُ اللّهُ رَبُّكُمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَاذَا بَعْدَ الْحَقِّ إِلاَّ الضَّلاَلُ فَأَنَّى تُصْرَفُونَ (32)

And that is Allah, your Lord; the Truth. So what is there beyond the truth except error? So how are you averted?
[Al Quran ; 10:32]

كَذَلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ فَسَقُواْ أَنَّهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ (33)

Thus has the word of your Lord become true upon those who defiantly disobeyed that they will not believe.
[Al Quran ; 10:33]

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ قُلِ اللّهُ يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ فَأَنَّى تُؤْفَكُونَ (34)

Say: Are there among your associates any who begins the creation and repeats it? Say: Allah begins the creation and repeats it; so how are you deluded?
[Al Quran ; 10:34]

قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَآئِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ قُلِ اللّهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لاَّ يَهِدِّيَ إِلاَّ أَن يُهْدَى فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ (35)

Say: Are there among your associates any who guides to the truth? Say: Allah guides to the truth. So is He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? So what is the matter with you, how do you judge?
[Al Quran ; 10:35]

وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلاَّ ظَنًّا إَنَّ الظَّنَّ لاَ يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ (36)

And most of them do not follow except conjecture; indeed, conjecture will not avail against the truth a thing. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
[Al Quran ; 10:36]

وَمَا كَانَ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ أَن يُفْتَرَى مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (37)

And it was not for this Quran to be forged by that other than Allah, but it is a confirmation of that which is before it. And the explanation of the book for which there will be no doubt from the Lord of the worlds.

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ قُلْ فَأْتُواْ بِسُورَةٍ مِّثْلِهِ وَادْعُواْ مَنِ اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ (38)

Or do they say: He has forged it? Say: Then bring a sura (Quran chapter) like it and call whomever you can other than Allah if you should be truthful.

بَلْ كَذَّبُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يُحِيطُواْ بِعِلْمِهِ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِهِمْ تَأْوِيلُهُ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الظَّالِمِينَ (39)

Rather, they have denied that for which they encompass not of knowledge, and its interpretation has not come to them. Thus did those deny before them; see then how was the consequence for the unjust.

وَمِنهُم مَّن يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لاَّ يُؤْمِنُ بِهِ وَرَبُّكَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ (40)

And of them are those who believe in it, and of them are those who do not believe in it. And your Lord is most Knowing of the mischief-makers.

Translation

Verses 21-40

---

وَإِذَا أَذَقْنَا النَّاسَ رَحْمَةً مِّن بَعْدِ ضَرَّاء مَسَّتْهُمْ إِذَا لَهُم مَّكْرٌ فِي آيَاتِنَا قُلِ اللّهُ أَسْرَعُ مَكْرًا إِنَّ رُسُلَنَا يَكْتُبُونَ مَا تَمْكُرُونَ (21)

And if We make the people taste mercy after an affliction has touched them, at once they devise plans against Our signs. Say: Allah is the quickest to plan. Indeed, Our messengers write what you plan.

Verses 41-60

---

وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ (41)

And if they deny you, say: For me is my deed, and for you is your deed; you are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do.

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ (42)

And among them are those who hear you. But can you make the deaf to hear, even though they were not to understand?
[Al Quran ; 10:42]

وَمِنهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ (43)

And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind, even though they were not to see?

إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا وَلَكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ (44)

Indeed, Allah does not do injustice to the people in anything, but the people do injustice to themselves.
[Al Quran ; 10:44]

وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ كَأَن لَّمْ يَلْبَثُواْ إِلاَّ سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ قَدْ خَسِرَ الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِلِقَاء اللّهِ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ (45)

And the day when He will gather them as if they had not stayed except an hour of the day; they will know each other. Already lost are those who have denied the meeting of Allah and were not guided.

وَإِمَّا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ اللّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُونَ (46)

And weather We show you some of what We promise them, or cause you to die, to Us is their return. And Allah will be a Witness over what they do.

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولٌ فَإِذَا جَاء رَسُولُهُمْ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ (47)

And for every nation is a messenger; so when their messenger comes, it will be judged between them in justice, and they will not be wronged.

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ (48)

And they say: When will be this promise, if you should be truthful?
[Al Quran ; 10:48]

قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَرًّا وَلاَ نَفْعًا إِلاَّ مَا شَاء اللّهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهُمْ فَلاَ يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ (49)

Say: I do not possess for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a term; when their term has come, then they will not be delayed for an hour, nor will they precede.
[Al Quran ; 10:49]

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَتَاكُمْ عَذَابُهُ بَيَاتًا أَوْ نَهَارًا مَّاذَا يَسْتَعْجِلُ مِنْهُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ (50)

Say: Have you considered if His torture should come to you by night or by day; for which of it would the criminals hasten?
[Al Quran ; 10:50]

أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ آمَنْتُم بِهِ آلآنَ وَقَدْ كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ (51)

And is it that, when it has occurred, you will believe in it then, and already you used to hasten for it?
[Al Quran ; 10:51]

ثُمَّ قِيلَ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ هَلْ تُجْزَوْنَ إِلاَّ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ (52)

And it will be said to those who did injustice: Taste the torture of eternity; are you being rewarded except for what you used to earn?
[Al Quran ; 10:52]

وَيَسْتَنبِئُونَكَ أَحَقٌّ هُوَ قُلْ إِي وَرَبِّي إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ وَمَا أَنتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ (53)

And they ask you: Is it true? Say: Yes, by my Lord; indeed, it is the truth and you will not cause failure (to Allah).

وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِي الأَرْضِ لاَفْتَدَتْ بِهِ وَأَسَرُّواْ النَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ الْعَذَابَ وَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُم بِالْقِسْطِ وَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ (54)

And if every soul that has done injustice had all that on earth, it would offer it in ransom. And they will confide regret when they see the torture; and it will be judged between them in justice and they will not be wronged.

أَلا إِنَّ لِلّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَلاَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ (55)

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth; unquestionably, the promise of Allah is true but most of them do not know.
[Al Quran ; 10:55]

هُوَ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ (56)

He gives life and causes death, and to Him you will be returned.
[Al Quran ; 10:56]

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاء لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ (57)

O people! There has come to you an admonition from your Lord and healing for whatever is in the chests and guidance and mercy for the believers.
[Al Quran ; 10:57]

قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُواْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ (58)

Say: By the grace of Allah and by His mercy, so in that let them rejoice; it is better than what they collect.
[Al Quran ; 10:58]

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُم مَّا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ لَكُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ فَجَعَلْتُم مِّنْهُ حَرَامًا وَحَلاَلاً قُلْ آللّهُ أَذِنَ لَكُمْ أَمْ عَلَى اللّهِ تَفْتَرُونَ (59)

Say: Have you considered what Allah has sent down for you of provision of which you have made unlawful and lawful? Say: Has Allah permitted you or do you forge about Allah (lies)?

وَمَا ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ (60)

And what will be the thoughts of those who forge about Allah lies on the day of resurrection? Indeed, Allah is the Possessor of grace over the people, but most of them do not give thanks.

Translation

Verses 41-60

---

وَإِن كَذَّبُوكَ فَقُل لِّي عَمَلِي وَلَكُمْ عَمَلُكُمْ أَنتُمْ بَرِيئُونَ مِمَّا أَعْمَلُ وَأَنَاْ بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ (41)

And if they deny you, say: For me is my deed, and for you is your deed; you are innocent of what I do, and I am innocent of what you do.

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ (42)

And among them are those who hear you. But can you make the deaf to hear, even though they were not to understand?
[Al Quran ; 10:42]

وَمِنهُم مَّن يَنظُرُ إِلَيْكَ أَفَأَنتَ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَلَوْ كَانُواْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ (43)

And among them are those who look at you. But can you guide the blind, even though they were not to see?
[Al Quran ; 10:43]

Verses 61-80

---

وَمَا تَكُونُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُو مِنْهُ مِن قُرْآنٍ وَلاَ تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلاَّ كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاء وَلاَ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ وَلا أَكْبَرَ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ (61)

And you are not in any status and whatever you recite of the Quran and you do not do any deed except that We are over you Witnesses when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven or smaller than that or greater except that it is in an obvious book.

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ (62)

Unquestionably, (as for) the allies of Allah, no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve.
[Al Quran ; 10:62]

الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَكَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ (63)

Those who have believed and feared.
[Al Quran ; 10:63]

---

لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَياةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (64)

For them are good tidings in the life of this world and in the hereafter. There is no changing to the words of Allah. That is the great victory.
[Al Quran ; 10:64]

وَلاَ يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (65)

And let not their saying grieves you; indeed, honour belongs to Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
[Al Quran ; 10:65]

أَلا إِنَّ لِلّهِ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَن فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ شُرَكَاء إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ (66)

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth. And what those who call upon other than Allah do not follow (some) associates; indeed, they only follow conjectures, and they are falsifying.
[Al Quran ; 10:66]

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُواْ فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ (67)

It is He Who made for you the night that you may rest therein; and the day to give light. Indeed, in that there are signs for a people who hear.
[Al Quran ; 10:67]

قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ (68)

They say: Allah has taken a child. Glory be to Him, He is the Rich, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this; do you say about Allah what you do not know?
[Al Quran ; 10:68]

قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ لاَ يُفْلِحُونَ (69)

Say: Those who forge about Allah lies will not succeed.
[Al Quran ; 10:69]

---

مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ (70)

Enjoyment in this world, then to Us will be their return; then We will make them taste severe torture because they used to disbelieve.
[Al Quran ; 10:70]

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيرِي بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ فَعَلَى اللّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُواْ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُواْ إِلَيَّ وَلاَ تُنظِرُونِ (71)

And recite to them the news of Nuh when he said to his people: O my people! If my stand and my reminding of the signs of Allah are huge upon you, then upon Allah I have relied. So resolve your affair and your associates. Then let not your affair be obscure to you; then carry it out against me and do not give me respite.
[Al Quran ; 10:71]

فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلاَّ عَلَى اللّهِ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ (72)

But if you turn away, then I did not ask you for any wage; indeed, my wage is only upon Allah, and I am commanded to be from among the submitters.
[Al Quran ; 10:72]

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلاَئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ (73)

And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors and caused those who denied Our signs to drown. So see how the consequence was for those who were warned.

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلاً إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ (74)

Then We sent after him messengers to their people. And they came to them with the proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had denied before. Thus do We seal upon the hearts of the perpetrators.

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَى وَهَارُونَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ (75)

Then We sent after them Musa and Harun to Firon and his chiefs with Our signs, but they were arrogant and they were a criminal people.
[Al Quran ; 10:75]

فَلَمَّا جَاءهُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُواْ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ (76)

So when the truth came to them from Us, they said: Indeed, this is surely an obvious magic.
[Al Quran ; 10:76]

قَالَ مُوسَى أَتقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءكُمْ أَسِحْرٌ هَذَا وَلاَ يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُونَ (77)

Musa said: Do you say about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will not succeed.
[Al Quran ; 10:77]

قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاء فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ (78)

They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you too may have greatness in the land? And we will not be believers in you.
[Al Quran ; 10:78]

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُونِي بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ (79)

And Firon said: Bring to me every knowledgeable magician.
[Al Quran ; 10:79]

فَلَمَّا جَاء السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى أَلْقُواْ مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ (80)

And when the magicians came, Musa said to them: Throw what you have to throw.

Translation

Verses 61-80

---

وَمَا تَكُونُ فِي شَأْنٍ وَمَا تَتْلُو مِنْهُ مِن قُرْآنٍ وَلاَ تَعْمَلُونَ مِنْ عَمَلٍ إِلاَّ كُنَّا عَلَيْكُمْ شُهُودًا إِذْ تُفِيضُونَ فِيهِ وَمَا يَعْزُبُ عَن رَّبِّكَ مِن مِّثْقَالِ ذَرَّةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ وَلاَ فِي السَّمَاء وَلاَ أَصْغَرَ مِن ذَلِكَ وَلا أَكْبَرَ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُّبِينٍ (61)

And you are not in any status and whatever you recite of the Quran and you do not do any deed except that We are over you Witnesses when you are involved in it. And not absent from your Lord is the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven or smaller than that or greater except that it is in an obvious book.

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ (62)

Unquestionably, (as for) the allies of Allah, no fear will be upon them nor will they grieve.
[Al Quran ; 10:62]

الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَكَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ (63)

Those who have believed and feared.
[Al Quran ; 10:63]

لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَياةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِكَلِمَاتِ اللّهِ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ (64)

For them are good tidings in the life of this world and in the hereafter. There is no changing to the words of Allah. That is the great victory.
[Al Quran ; 10:64]

وَلاَ يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّ الْعِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعًا هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ (65)

And let not their saying grieves you; indeed, honour belongs to Allah entirely. He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

أَلا إِنَّ لِلّهِ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَن فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ شُرَكَاء إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ هُمْ إِلاَّ يَخْرُصُونَ (66)

Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whoever is in the heavens and whoever is in the earth. And what those who call upon other than Allah do not follow (some) associates; indeed, they only follow conjectures, and they are falsifying.
[Al Quran ; 10:66]

هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُواْ فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ (67)

It is He Who made for you the night that you may rest therein; and the day to give light. Indeed, in that there are signs for a people who hear.
[Al Quran ; 10:67]

قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ (68)

They say: Allah has taken a child. Glory be to Him, He is the Rich, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. You have no authority for this; do you say about Allah what you do not know?
[Al Quran ; 10:68]

قُلْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ الْكَذِبَ لاَ يُفْلِحُونَ (69)

Say: Those who forge about Allah lies will not succeed.
[Al Quran ; 10:69]

---

مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ (70)

Enjoyment in this world, then to Us will be their return; then We will make them taste severe torture because they used to disbelieve.
[Al Quran ; 10:70]

وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيْكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذْكِيرِي بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ فَعَلَى اللّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَأَجْمِعُواْ أَمْرَكُمْ وَشُرَكَاءكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُنْ أَمْرُكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ غُمَّةً ثُمَّ اقْضُواْ إِلَيَّ وَلاَ تُنظِرُونِ (71)

And recite to them the news of Nuh when he said to his people: O my people! If my stand and my reminding of the signs of Allah are huge upon you, then upon Allah I have relied. So resolve your affair and your associates. Then let not your affair be obscure to you; then carry it out against me and do not give me respite.
[Al Quran ; 10:71]

فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَمَا سَأَلْتُكُم مِّنْ أَجْرٍ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلاَّ عَلَى اللّهِ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ (72)

But if you turn away, then I did not ask you for any wage; indeed, my wage is only upon Allah, and I am commanded to be from among the submitters.
[Al Quran ; 10:72]

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلاَئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ (73)

And they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship and made them successors and caused those who denied Our signs to drown. So see how the consequence was for those who were warned.

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِ رُسُلاً إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآؤُوهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُواْ لِيُؤْمِنُواْ بِمَا كَذَّبُواْ بِهِ مِن قَبْلُ كَذَلِكَ نَطْبَعُ عَلَى قُلوبِ الْمُعْتَدِينَ (74)

Then We sent after him messengers to their people. And they came to them with the proofs, but they were not to believe in what they had denied before. Thus do We seal upon the hearts of the perpetrators.
[Al Quran ; 10:74]

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِم مُّوسَى وَهَارُونَ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ بِآيَاتِنَا فَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ (75)

Then We sent after them Musa and Harun to Firon and his chiefs with Our signs, but they were arrogant and they were a criminal people.
[Al Quran ; 10:75]

فَلَمَّا جَاءهُمُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُواْ إِنَّ هَذَا لَسِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ (76)

So when the truth came to them from Us, they said: Indeed, this is surely an obvious magic.
[Al Quran ; 10:76]

قَالَ مُوسَى أَتقُولُونَ لِلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاءكُمْ أَسِحْرٌ هَذَا وَلاَ يُفْلِحُ السَّاحِرُونَ (77)

Musa said: Do you say about the truth when it has come to you? Is this magic? But the magicians will not succeed.

قَالُواْ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتَلْفِتَنَا عَمَّا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا وَتَكُونَ لَكُمَا الْكِبْرِيَاء فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا نَحْنُ لَكُمَا بِمُؤْمِنِينَ (78)

They said: Have you come to us to turn us away from that upon which we found our fathers and so that you too may have greatness in the land? And we will not be believers in you.
[Al Quran ; 10:78]

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ائْتُونِي بِكُلِّ سَاحِرٍ عَلِيمٍ (79)

And Firon said: Bring to me every knowledgeable magician.
[Al Quran ; 10:79]

فَلَمَّا جَاء السَّحَرَةُ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى أَلْقُواْ مَا أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ (80)

And when the magicians came, Musa said to them: Throw what you have to throw.

Translation

Verses 101-109

---

قُلِ انظُرُواْ مَاذَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا تُغْنِي الآيَاتُ وَالنُّذُرُ عَن قَوْمٍ لاَّ يُؤْمِنُونَ (101)

Say: Look at what is in the heavens and the earth. And signs and the warners will not avail a people who do not believe.
[Al Quran ; 10:101]

فَهَلْ يَنتَظِرُونَ إِلاَّ مِثْلَ أَيَّامِ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قُلْ فَانتَظِرُواْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُنتَظِرِينَ (102)

So, do they wait except for similar days of those who left before them? Say: Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.
[Al Quran ; 10:102]

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كَذَلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنجِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (103)

Then We save Our messengers and those who have believed. Thus, it is an obligation upon Us to save the believers.
[Al Quran ; 10:103]

قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن دِينِي فَلاَ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللّهَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (104)

Say: O people! If you are in doubt as to my religion, then I do not worship those which you worship other than Allah, but I worship Allah Who causes you to die, and I am commanded to be from among the submitters.
[Al Quran ; 10:104]

وَأَنْ أَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا وَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ (105)

And (commanded) that: You should turn your face towards the religion, upright, and never be of the polytheists.
[Al Quran ; 10:105]

وَلاَ تَدْعُ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ مَا لاَ يَنفَعُكَ وَلاَ يَضُرُّكَ فَإِن فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِّنَ الظَّالِمِينَ (106)

And do not call upon other than Allah that which neither benefits you nor harms you, for if you do, then indeed, you will surely be of the unjust.
[Al Quran ; 10:106]

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَإِن يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلاَ رَآدَّ لِفَضْلِهِ يُصَيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاء مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ (107)

And if Allah should touch you with harm, then there is no remover of it except He; and if He wants for you good, then there is no repeller of His grace. He strikes with it whom He wills of His servants; and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
[Al Quran ; 10:107]

قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاءكُمُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَنِ اهْتَدَى فَإِنَّمَا يَهْتَدِي لِنَفْسِهِ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيْهَا وَمَا أَنَاْ عَلَيْكُم بِوَكِيلٍ (108)

Say: O people! There has come to you the truth from your Lord, so whoever is guided is only guided for his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray against it. And I am not over you a trustee.
[Al Quran ; 10:108]

وَاتَّبِعْ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ وَاصْبِرْ حَتَّىَ يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ (109)

And follow what is revealed to you and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.
