Qaf (Qaf)
Translation
Verses 26-45
الَّذِي جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ فَأَلْقِيَاهُ فِي الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيدِ (26)
Who made with Allah another god, so throw him into severe torture.
[Al Quran ; 50:26]
قَالَ قَرِينُهُ رَبَّنَا مَا أَطْغَيْتُهُ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ بَعِيدٍ (27)
His comrade will say: Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was in a distant misguidance.
[Al Quran ; 50:27]
قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوا لَدَيَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ بِالْوَعِيدِ (28)
He (Allah) will say: Do not dispute before Me, while I already presented to you the threat.
[Al Quran ; 50:28]
مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ (29)
The saying will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants.
[Al Quran ; 50:29]
يَوْمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَأْتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلْ مِنْ مَزِيدٍ (30)
The day We will say to hell: Have you been filled? And it will say: Are there more?
[Al Quran ; 50:30]
وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ غَيْرَ بَعِيدٍ (31)
And the garden will be brought near to the pious, not far.
[Al Quran ; 50:31]
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٍ (32)
This is what you were promised for every returnee (to Allah) and keeper (of His covenant).
[Al Quran ; 50:32]
مَنْ خَشِيَ الرَّحْمَٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَاءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُنِيبٍ (33)
Who feared the Compassionate unseen and came with a returning heart.
[Al Quran ; 50:33]
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُودِ (34)
Enter it in peace; that is the day of eternity.
[Al Quran ; 50:34]
لَهُمْ مَا يَشَاءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيدٌ (35)
For them is what they wish therein, and with Us will be more.
[Al Quran ; 50:35]
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِنْ مَحِيصٍ (36)
And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were stronger than them in transgression? So search in the countries, was there an escape (for them)?
[Al Quran ; 50:36]
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكْرَىٰ لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ (37)
Indeed, in that is a reminder for one who has a heart or listens while he is present (in mind).
[Al Quran ; 50:37]
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِنْ لُغُوبٍ (38)
And We have certainly created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no fatigue.
[Al Quran ; 50:38]
فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوبِ (39)
So be patient over what they say and glorify with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before (its) setting.
[Al Quran ; 50:39]
وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَأَدْبَارَ السُّجُودِ (40)
And through the night glorify Him and at the end of prostration.
[Al Quran ; 50:40]
وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِنْ مَكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ (41)
And hear on the day when the caller will call from a near place.
[Al Quran ; 50:41]
يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوجِ (42)
The day they will hear the shriek in truth. That is the day of emergence.
[Al Quran ; 50:42]
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَإِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيرُ (43)
Indeed, We give life and cause death, and to Us will be the destination.
[Al Quran ; 50:43]
يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْأَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيرٌ (44)
The day the earth will split exposing them; that is a gathering over Us, easy.
[Al Quran ; 50:44]
نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مَنْ يَخَافُ وَعِيدِ (45)
We are most Knowing what they say, and you are not over them a tyrant; so remind by the Quran whoever fears My threat.
[Al Quran ; 50:45]
