Al-Raad (The Thunder)

Translation

Verses 1-20

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

المر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ ۗ وَالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ (1)

Alif Lam Mim Ra. These are the signs of the book; and that which was sent down to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.
[Al Quran ; 13:1]

اللَّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ (2)

Allah is the One Who lifted the heavens without any pillars that you see; and He established Himself above the throne and subjected the sun and the moon, each is running to a specified time. He regulates the affair, He explains the signs that perhaps you will be concerning the meeting your Lord certain.
[Al Quran ; 13:2]

وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا ۖ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ (3)

And it is He Who extended the land and made therein mountains and rivers. And of all plants produce, He has made therein two pairs; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who give thought.
[Al Quran ; 13:3]

وَفِي الْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُتَجَاوِرَاتٌ وَجَنَّاتٌ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الْأُكُلِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ (4)

And in the earth are neighbouring plots (of lands) and gardens of grapes and plants and palm trees, having one root and (others) having distinct roots, watered with one water, and We made some of them to excel others in eating. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who understand.
[Al Quran ; 13:4]

وَإِنْ تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ (5)

And if you have wondered, then wonder is their saying: When we are dust, will we indeed be in a new creation? It is them who have disbelieved in their Lord, and it is them who will have shackles over their necks. And it is them who will be the companions of the fire; they will be therein abiding.
[Al Quran ; 13:5]

وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلَاتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ (6)

And they ask you to hasten for them evil before good while there have passed before them similar punishments. And indeed, your Lord is surely the Possessor of forgiveness for the people despite their injustice; and indeed, your Lord is surely severe in punishment.
[Al Quran ; 13:6]

وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ (7)

And those who have disbelieved say: Why has a sign not been sent down upon him from his Lord? Indeed, you are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.
[Al Quran ; 13:7]

اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنْثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدَارٍ (8)

Allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose or increase; and everything with Him has measure.
[Al Quran ; 13:8]

عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَالِ (9)

The knower of unseen and testimony, the Great, the Exalted.
[Al Quran ; 13:9]

سَوَاءٌ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَسَرَّ الْقَوْلَ وَمَنْ جَهَرَ بِهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍ بِاللَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌ بِالنَّهَارِ (10)

It is the same (to Him) concerning you whether one conceals the saying or declares it, and whether one is hiding by night or is conspicuous by day.
[Al Quran ; 13:10]

لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍ (11)

For him are successive (angels) before and behind him who protect him by the command of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves; and when Allah wants evil to a people, there is no repelling to it. And there is not be for them other than Him any guardian.
[Al Quran ; 13:11]

هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنْشِئُ السَّحَابَ الثِّقَالَ (12)

It is He Who shows you the lightning, (causing) fear and hope and generates the heavy cloud.
[Al Quran ; 13:12]

وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ (13)

And the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels from fear of Him. And He sends the thunderbolts and strikes with it whom He wills. And they dispute about Allah, and He is severe in assault.
[Al Quran ; 13:13]

لَهُ دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُمْ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَاسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهِ ۚ وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ (14)

To Him belongs the supplication of truth. And those whom they call upon other than Him do not respond to them with anything, (they are) like one who stretches his two palms towards water to reach his mouth, but it will not reach it. And the supplication of the unbelievers is not except in error.
[Al Quran ; 13:14]

وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَالُهُمْ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ (15)

And to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly and unwillingly; and (so do) their shadows in the morning and the afternoons.
[Al Quran ; 13:15]

قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَاتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي الظُّلُمَاتُ وَالنُّورُ ۗ أَمْ جَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ خَلَقُوا كَخَلْقِهِ فَتَشَابَهَ الْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ (16)

Say: Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth? Say: Allah. Say: Have you then taken other than Him guardians who do not possess for themselves benefit or harm? Say: Is the blind equal to the seeing? Or is darkness equal to light? Or have they made to Allah partners who created like His creation so that the creation seemed similar to them? Say: Allah is the Creator of everything, and He is the One, the Prevailing.
[Al Quran ; 13:16]

أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَابِيًا ۚ وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ زَبَدٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ ۚ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً ۖ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ (17)

He sends down from the sky water, and valleys flow (with water) according to their measure, and the torrent carries a rising foam, and from that which they heat in the fire, desiring ornaments or utensils of foam like it; thus does Allah strike (the example of) truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes; and as for that which benefits the people, it remains in the land; thus does Allah strike parables.
[Al Quran ; 13:17]

لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ (18)

For those who have responded to their Lord is the best; and those who have not responded to Him, if they had that is in the earth all together and the like of it with it, they would ransom themselves thereby. It is them who will have a worst reckoning, and theirs refuge will be hell, and miserable is the resting place.
[Al Quran ; 13:18]

أَفَمَنْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ (19)

So is one who knows that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth like one who is blind? They will only be reminded those who possess minds.
[Al Quran ; 13:19]

الَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْقُضُونَ الْمِيثَاقَ (20)

Those who fulfil the covenant of Allah and do not break the trust.
[Al Quran ; 13:20]

Al-Raad (The Thunder)

Translation

Verses 21-43

وَالَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوءَ الْحِسَابِ (21)

And those who join that which Allah has commanded to be joined and fear their Lord and fear the evil of reckoning.
[Al Quran ; 13:21]

وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (22)

And those who have been patient desiring the face of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend of what We have provided them secretly and publicly. It is them for whom will be the consequence of the home.
[Al Quran ; 13:22]

جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ بَابٍ (23)

The gardens of Eden, they will enter them along with whoever was righteous from among their fathers and their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate.
[Al Quran ; 13:23]

سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (24)

Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured; and excellent is the consequence of the home.
[Al Quran ; 13:24]

وَالَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ (25)

And those who break the covenant of Allah after entrusting it and sever what Allah has commanded to be joined and make mischief in the land. It is them for whom will be curse, and for them there will be the evil of the home.
[Al Quran ; 13:25]

اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ وَفَرِحُوا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَاعٌ (26)

Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts (it). And they rejoice in the life of this world, while the life of this world is not in the hereafter except enjoyment.
[Al Quran ; 13:26]

وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ (27)

And those who have disbelieved say: Why has a sign not been sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: Indeed, Allah misguides whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns (to Him).
[Al Quran ; 13:27]

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُمْ بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ (28)

Those who have believed while whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.
[Al Quran ; 13:28]

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمْ وَحُسْنُ مَآبٍ (29)

Those who have believed and done good deeds, a good state will be theirs and a good return.
[Al Quran ; 13:29]

كَذَٰلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ فِي أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا أُمَمٌ لِتَتْلُوَ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ (30)

Thus have We sent you to a nation before which other nations have passed on so you might recite to them that which We have revealed to you, while they disbelieve in the Compassionate. Say: He is my Lord, there is no god except He. Upon Him I rely, and to Him is my return.
[Al Quran ; 13:30]

وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۗ بَلْ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُمْ بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِنْ دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ (31)

And if there was a Quran by which the mountains would be moved or by which the earth would be broken, or by which the dead would be made to speak; rather to Allah belongs the entire affair. Have those who believed not accepted that had Allah willed, He would guide the people all together? And those who have disbelieved do not cease to be struck, for what they have done, by calamity, or it will come near their homes, until there comes the promise of Allah. Indeed, Allah does not fail in promise.
[Al Quran ; 13:31]

وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ (32)

And certainly messengers were ridiculed before you, but I extended the time to those who have disbelieved; then I seized them. And how was My punishment?
[Al Quran ; 13:32]

أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ ۗ وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ ۚ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ بِظَاهِرٍ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۗ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّوا عَنِ السَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ (33)

So is One Who is the Maintainer of every soul concerning what it has earned. But they made to Allah associates. Say: Give them a name. Or do you inform Him of what He does not know in the land or of what is apparent of saying? Rather, their plan was decorated to those who have disbelieved, and they hindered from the path; and whomever Allah misguides, then for him there will be no guide.
[Al Quran ; 13:33]

لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ (34)

For them will be torture in the life of this world, and surely the torture of the hereafter is more severe, and there will not be for them against Allah any protector.
[Al Quran ; 13:34]

مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ أُكُلُهَا دَائِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا ۚ تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا ۖ وَعُقْبَى الْكَافِرِينَ النَّارُ (35)

The example of the garden which is promised to the pious, is that beneath which rivers flow, its food is continuous, and its shade. That is the consequence for those who fear, and the consequence for the unbelievers will be the fire.
[Al Quran ; 13:35]

وَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَمِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَنْ يُنْكِرُ بَعْضَهُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَلَا أُشْرِكَ بِهِ ۚ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُو وَإِلَيْهِ مَآبِ (36)

And those to whom We have given the book rejoice with what has been sent down to you, while among the parties are those who deny some of it. Say: I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate with Him (anything). To Him I invite and to Him will be my return.
[Al Quran ; 13:36]

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا ۚ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَمَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ (37)

And thus have We sent it down, an Arabic legislation. And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, there will not be for you against Allah any guardian or any protector.
[Al Quran ; 13:37]

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ (38)

And We have certainly sent messengers before you and made for them spouses and descendants; and it is not for any messenger to bring a sign except by permission of Allah. For every term there is a book.
[Al Quran ; 13:38]

يَمْحُو اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ (39)

Allah erases what He wills and confirms, and with Him is the mother of the book.
[Al Quran ; 13:39]

وَإِنْ مَا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ وَعَلَيْنَا الْحِسَابُ (40)

And whether We show you some of what We promise them or cause you to die, upon you is only the notification (of the message) and upon Us is the reckoning.
[Al Quran ; 13:40]

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَأْتِي الْأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ (41)

Do they not see that We attend to the earth reducing it of its ends? And Allah judges; there is no adjuster to His judgment. And He is swift in reckoning.
[Al Quran ; 13:41]

وَقَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلَّهِ الْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الْكُفَّارُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ (42)

And those before them planned; and to Allah belongs the whole planning. He knows what every soul earns, and the unbelievers are going to know for whom will be the consequence of the home.
[Al Quran ; 13:42]

وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا ۚ قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ (43)

And those who have disbelieved say: You are not a messenger. Say: Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you and whoever has the knowledge of the book.
[Al Quran ; 13:43]
